Last couple creations

The last couple of weeks

The last few lessons have been devoted to music and drama. I sadly was ill for the music lesson but from the handouts and the materials in the room, the lesson looked like a lot of fun. I have had a fair bit of experience musically having played sax, harmonica and now guitar.

Drama wise I have not had a lot of exposure. My limited exposure has come from the camp setting, having taken on the role of prop and stage manager for my units last four productions. It has been a lot of fun to see the quiet kids get up on stage in front of 400 people and perform.

Dance, music and movement lessons

Today was filled with dance, music and movement. The groups presenting were all fantastic and provided us with many good ideas on how to teach the more difficult aspects of art. Seeing these easy ideas has put me a lot more at ease when it comes to thinking about teaching dance or music. Here are their lesson plans.

Last Day of Creation

Today was our last day of creating artwork for our portfolio. Therefore we had a whole variety of centres set up and just went at it for half the class. The following are my creations of the day. Overall the ideas were great and easy to do. There are many ideas that can be adapted to the different age levels. Enjoy.
